Where to start…It’s been a busy October. On the first weekend, we started off with our annual Food Booth fund raiser at 57 College N.E. The weather was great and we had another very $ucce$$ful year. At the November NCBC Board meeting, we will discuss which specific charities will receive profit proceeds this year.

The next weekend brought us Martini Madness at 31 College N.E. – hosted by Chris & Heidi Bailey & our newest neighbors Kristine & Joel Bersche. Thanks to all of you for a very fun event. The decorated martini glass competition is always fun.

So what was next? Well, you can’t have enough parties at 57 College N.E. so Jack Hoppus and Jim Boylan held another NCBC Casino night (our last one was 2004) on the third weekend. It took a team of dedicated volunteers and planners to pull this off – and they did it without a hitch.

The reason we are able to do these activities is your neighborly NCBC volunteerism. Your on-going support of block events makes us the strong and recognized block club we are. See you next time.
