Well, Diamond Jim Boylan struck again! 2nd year in a row! He was Friday night's big winner at the 2007 NCBC No Limit Texas Hold 'Em Championship. There were 17 players with 5 taking home cash winnings.

• Champion: Jim Boylan - $500 + coveted championship bracelet
• 2nd Place: John Colvin - $300
• 3rd Place: Scott Monroe - $100
• 4th Place: Martin - $75
• 5th Place: Art - $25
• Shannon Monroe won $85 in the 50/50 drawing.

Sunday, January 21 - The landscape of the North College Block Club neighborhood will never be the same after a fire destroyed the home at 46 College. Though the ordeal was heartbreaking, what matters is that everyone made it out safely. The neighbors really came together opening their hearts and homes to displaced tenants as firefighters spent 10 hours fighting the blaze. The residents of the Hessler home (50 College) where also displaced through the night due to fear the fire could spread.
